What is My Policy Vault?

My Policy Vault (MPV) is a secure digital vault where you can store, organise, and manage all your insurance policies and motoring documents in one place. From car insurance and home cover to pet policies and travel insurance — everything is accessible whenever you need it.

How do I create an account?

Simply click 'Create an account' at the top of any page. You'll need to provide your name, email address, and a secure password. Once registered, you can start adding your policies straight away — it only takes a few minutes.

Is My Policy Vault free to use?

Accepted Answer

No. Not normally, although in some instances, your product provider may have given you free access to it. My Policy Vault normally costs a minimum of £25 per annum, but that can vary depending on the type of account and level of access. However, you always get the MPV Rewards Diamond Membership (normally £49.95/year) completely free of charge, which includes exclusive perks and retailer discounts.

What types of policies can I store?

You can store a wide range of policies and documents including car insurance, home and contents insurance, travel insurance, pet insurance, life insurance, health insurance, motoring documents (MOT certificates, Road Fund Licence, service history), and much more — across 12 categories in total.

Is my data safe with My Policy Vault?

Absolutely. Your data is hosted securely on AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure and protected with SSL encryption. We never store banking details, and your personal information is handled in strict accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

Do you store my banking or payment details?

Accepted Answer

No. My Policy Vault does not store any banking or payment card details. We only hold the policy and document information you choose to add to your vault.

Who can see my policies and documents?

Accepted Answer

Only you. Your vault is private and accessible only with your login credentials. My Policy Vault staff do not have access to the contents of your vault. You are always in full control of your data.

Is My Policy Vault regulated?

Yes. My Policy Vault is an Appointed Representative (AR) of Rest Ashored Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) — FRN 732530.

How do I add a policy to my vault?

Once logged in, navigate to the relevant category (e.g. Car Insurance) and click 'Add policy'. You can enter your policy details manually — including insurer name, policy number, start and end dates, and any notes. You can also upload supporting documents.

Can I set renewal reminders?

Yes. When adding or editing a policy, you can set a renewal reminder date. MPV will alert you ahead of your renewal so you have plenty of time to shop around and avoid auto-renewing at a higher price.

Can I store documents and certificates?

Yes. You can upload documents such as MOT certificates, insurance schedules, and service history records directly to your vault. These are stored securely and accessible at any time from any device.

Can I manage policies for my whole family or household?

Yes. Your vault is designed to hold policies for your entire household — including vehicles, family members, and multiple properties. Everything is organised by category so it's easy to find what you need.

What is MPV Rewards Diamond Membership?

MPV Rewards Diamond Membership is MPV's premium tier, normally priced at £49.95 per year. It includes exclusive perks such as access to a curated retailer discount network, priority support, and additional vault features. It is currently available completely free of charge to all registered users.

How do I access the retailer discounts?

Once you have an MPV Rewards Diamond Membership, you can browse the MPV Rewards section within your account to view and access exclusive discounts from our partner retailers. New offers are added regularly.

Will MPV Rewards Diamond Membership always be free?

MPV Rewards Diamond Membership is currently offered free of charge as part of our launch promotion. We will give all members advance notice of any changes to pricing before they take effect.

Yes. My Policy Vault is fully responsive and works on all modern smartphones, tablets, and desktop browsers. There is no app to download — simply visit the website and log in from any device.

How do I delete my account?

If you wish to close your account and delete your data, please contact us at info@mypolicyvault.co.uk. We will process your request in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR obligations.
